    Unanswered: formt of timestamp column

    hi,

We are running a Db2 7.1 database on MS Windows NT, one instance, two databases . Suddenly, for no apparent reason for one database ,the format of the timestamp columns is changed form month dd, year to year-moth-day.hours.minutes.sec.mm. Has anyone any idea how we can influence the display of columns of type timestamp (for example in the control centre) ? How can this suddenly change?

    Thanks in advance,

    Peter

    Hi,

Most likely the regional setting of either the database or the server (more likely) has changed thus affecting the output.

Use CHAR function to cast TIMESTAMP into right format (you can specify the format in function parameter).
