    Unanswered: sql in dlookup

    How do I use an sql statement (SELECT MAX(NUM_ANT) FROM NUMBERS) in a dlookup function ?

    You may use DMax() function instead.

    thanks, it really help

    I'm new in access... and don't know the functions.. even worst.. my access is tranlated in Portuguese ( my language) and the help files are all or bad linked or dont have any link at all... #)

    In this case you'd rather stay with US version of MS Access.

    I wish i could... they have contract with the microsoft and all the software in the firm is in portuguese #)
    But in my house is only US version
