    Question Unanswered: SQL Special Characters

    Dear All,

Is there anywhere I could find the document about the special
characters defined in the DB2 SQL? For example, % and _ are
    wild card characters...

I remember & is also a special one. Anyone can adivse me how
    it is used?

    Thanks.

    Re: SQL Special Characters

The best place to look for SQL type questions is the 'SQL Reference' ..

% and _ are used in the WHERE LIKE clause. % matches more than one cjharacter , _ is used to represent a single character.
