do i need to use T_SQL for queries in sybase database ?
If i understand correctly, is ASE a sybase database ?
like we use SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle, what is the equivalent in Oracle ?

I appreciate, if someone can clarify my Doubts..

T-SQL is Sybase (and Microsoft's) extentions to the ANSI SQL standard.

Unline Oracle, which has 3 (I think) distinct 'flavors' of SQL, Sybase and MS SQL operate on the same standard SQL dialect for all usages.

Stored Procedures use the same SQL as regular queries, so you do not have to re-write SQL.
    Thanks,

    Matt
