    Unanswered: Web Pages and Access

I have an Access Database that I would like to link to my company's intranet. The problem is, I would like to allow users to access it from their browsers as well as through MS Access like they do currently. Do I need to import the database into the web? If not, how do I do it? If so, can it be edited both ways? Appreciate the help.

Have never done this myself, but here's a link to a site with some information that may help...

you can probably use any html-generating language that supports odbc to do it as well. i'm pretty sure PHP supports an odbc connection.

one db on the web server and one on the LAN, link 'm together and it should work. If you want to update from both the web and the LAN, and you don't want to synchronize tables, keep the data on the LAN server and link the web db to that one.

    Hope this helps.....
