    Unanswered: SQLL18N3 package missing

    Hi,

    I am installing IBM WebSphere 3.02 and DB2 V5
When the web server attempts to start up, it fails with the following error message ...

    Could not create database table: "EJSADMIN.BindingBeanTbl" COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Exception: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0805N Package "NULLID.SQLL18N3" was not found. SQLSTATE=51002

This is not in the database.

I have tried the following ...

Go to the bnd directory within the sqllib and used the following commands to rebind all CLI and utility packages:

    bind @db2ubind.lst grant public
    bind @db2cli.lst grant public

this did not fix the problem.
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Andy

I haven't installed Websphere, but had a similar problem with trying to access data into Excel.

To fix the problem, I had to make sure that NULLID has READ access to all of the system tables, with Grant authority. Then I had to rebind the packages. Buried very deep in the documentation, it said this; it only took me 3 weeks to find it.

It needed the system catalog, the columns, the column authority, the keys, the key columns, the indexes, the table authority, and the synonyns. In VM, these tables are:
    SYSTEM.SYSCATALOG
    SYSTEM.SYSCOLAUTH
    SYSTEM.SYSCOLUMNS
    SYSTEM.SYSINDEXES
    SYSTEM.SYSKEYCOLS
    SYSTEM.SYSKEYS
    SYSTEM.SYSSYNONYMS
    SYSTEM.SYSTABAUTH

    Good luck!
