I know MySQL' default character set is ISO-8859-1 (Latin1).
I have a question:
When I use MySQL+Resin in MS windows, there's no problem
the GBK is showing very well in web pages(JSP),but when I chage the
OS to Linux(still MySQL+Resin),there're all bad characters like "????" instead of good GBK,and after I studying the problem,I need to write
an encoder to convert the string that get from request when I insert
into the db,and then turn back them when I select. My question is that
whether I can solve the problem by not using the encoder or not?And
what is the way?Thank u!
