Unanswered: Dbastudio in standalone mode with no Mgmnt srv on linux

    Hi,

I have Ora8.1.7 Ent. Edt. on RedHat7.1 and would like to use DBA studio locally on the server. Is it possible to run this in standalone mode with no mgmnt srv & repository like you can in NT?

If not does any one have any example scripts or configuration settings to create a small instance just to hold the repository and possibly RMAN catalogue?

    Many Thanks
    Harry

    Cool

For the first question - yes, it is possible.

For the second question - user Database Configuration Assistant. Then on the end choose to save the scripts. This way you will have set of scripts for the next time.

    Hope that helps,
