Question Unanswered: Speed Issues Trying to Access FE of Recently Split DB

I am part of a grass roots development group implementing an office wide Access Database. With more users starting to access the file and increasing crashes, we are trying to split database and we are having troubles with the speed of the front end on users desk tops. Some of our forms are heavy with queries and are taking up to 3 minutes to open on users machine. Any pointers or suggestions. Thanks!

Run the queries on the backend. When the query is called on the frontend the entire table is sent over the network leading to a speed issue. By moving the querires to the backend only the results are sent over the network.

The bad news is I think you have to move the backend to SQL to do this.
