    Unanswered: How to drop a structured type ?

    Hi everyone,

    I'am using DB2 UDB 7.2 on win2k

    I've created a structured type and an associated method such as follows:

    ************************************************** *********
    CREATE TYPE Period AS (
    Begin TIMESTAMP,
    End TIMESTAMP
    )
    MODE DB2SQL
    METHOD Overlap ( Other Period ) RETURNS INTEGER
    LANGUAGE SQL CONTAINS SQL DETERMINISTIC NO EXTERNAL ACTION,

    CREATE METHOD Overlap ( Other Period )
    FOR Period
    RETURN ( CASE
    WHEN ((self..end >= other..begin) AND
    (self..begin <= other..end)) THEN 1
    ELSE 0
    END);
    ************************************************** *********

    I would like to delete it but i don't find how.

    Where DB2 has created this type ?
    How can i drop it ?

    When i use the command "db2 drop type period" on a DB2 command window, nothing happens (no new command prompt appears)! Why ??

    Thanks a lot for your answers

    Maybe u need to provide an identifier for the type name.
    Else tell me the SQLSTATE error Will get back on that basis then
    Cheers
