    Unhappy Unanswered: Access 97

I am getting the following error message after I have installed Office 97 Professional, when I try to run it:

"Microsoft Office can't start because there is no licence for it on this machine"

    I am using Windows 98 2nd Ed.

Can anyone tell me why I get this, Cheers.

Do you have Access 2000 installed as well? If so see:

When using two or more versions of MS office, allways make sure you install them into different directories,

    (e.g.)

    office 97 into > C:\program Files\MSOffice97

    office 2000 into > C:\program Files\MSOffice2k

    office XP into > C:\program Files\MSOfficeXP

    Hope this helps !
