    Unanswered: controling user and group accounts with vba

    as the subject reads, is it possible to control user and group accounts with vba? if so, does anybody have any links to sample code? thanks

    Its all possible.

    I give the user a form to change their password with. When they enter the old and then the new, and hit the submit, I use commands like these. This should get you started.

    Dim wrkDefault As Workspace
    Dim usrCurrentUser As User

    Set wrkDefault = DBEngine.Workspaces(0)
    Set usrCurrentUser = wrkDefault.Users(CurrentUser())

    usrCurrentUser.NewPassword strOldPassword, strNewPassword


    Maybe that will help you get started in Access's HELP file.
