Exclamation Unanswered: Protecting your Access applications

    Hi everybody,
Does anybody know what do I have to do to protect my Access applications. I want something that reads, let's say, the serial number of my motherboard. If the destination computer does not have that serial number I will lock my application.

u can password protect ur application.. u can also zip and protect ur file...write a small routine to create a serial number and store it in the registry or encrypt it and store in a file in ur system... or create a dummy file in ur system and make sure that the program runs only if the file exists..
    hope this helps
