    Unanswered: Missing something - ?

    I am running db2 universal version 7.2 on a windows 2000 pro box, and am trying to connect my os2 warp boxes to it. I've actually succeeded doing this, but am running into a problem. It appears that I am missing a package in db2. I can connect to the database just fine, but when I try to run a command I receive the following:

    Package "NULLID.SQLC29D4" was not found. SQLSTATE=51002

    Any suggestions?

    BTW - I'm using TCPIP to connect. Is there a place that I can download this package? I'm stumped.

    I also faced this problem and found that by granting BINDADD to the USER, it works fine:

    db2 GRANT BINDADD TO USER <username>;

    From OS/2, connect to the 2K database and issue

    db2 bind <bnd dir>\@db2ubind.lst GRANT PUBLIC
    db2 bind <bnd dir>\@db2cli.lst GRANT PUBLIC

    Thanks for the replies. I tried binding those two files that you mentioned, and during the binding process for the first file it generates the error:

    Package "NULLID.SQLAB9D4" was not found. SQLSTATE=51002

    It ends with 2 errors and 0 warnings.

    The second files binds with only 2 warnings I believe. After this I still cannot do anything with the database connection. I can connect from my OS2 boxes, but nothing else.

    I also tried the GRANT BINDADD command, but it is not recognizing that command. Is that a valid command? I didn't see it in the library.
