Question Unanswered: SQL Server & Trigger on Linked Tables

Using: MS SQL Server (and Linked Server with tables from Kronos)

We created a Linked Server with the tables required from Kronos.
Now we need to create a trigger (Insert, Update) on one of the linked tables in order to Insert the new or updated data from the linked table into one of our db table.

Within our db it's easy to create Triggers, but How to do it for a linked table within Linked Servers?

    Thank you,

Are you trying to insert data from Kronos to SLQ or the other way around?

Unhappy From Kronos to SQL Server

I need a trigger to automatically update my SQL Server table when new entries are added in the Kronos punch table. So Now I have the Linked Server Kronos in SQL Server and I can see the tables but I am unable to create triggers for these tables. I'm also unable to register the Linked Server Kronos which is I suspect why I'm unable to apply triggers to the linked tables...

The trigger would have to be created in KRONOS to do an insert into SQL Server. You can not create a trigger in SQL Server to opperate on a table in a linked server.
