    Wink Unanswered: Linking two table

    Hello,
I am somewhat new to using Access so I apologize ahead of time. I have looked at several manuals and consulted with 2 avid database developers and I have not gotten very far.
    Here is my dilemma:
I have two tables: one table contains just 1 field called Card No. with approx 759000 records. The second table contains(for now) 2 fields Start No and End No and will eventually in the future contain about 30000 records. What I am trying to do is to simply run a query which will pull up all the records in table 1 which fall between the start and end No in table 2. I know that the Between feature will do this for me quite easily, however how do I link the two tables? One table contains individual card no. while the other is the start and end numbers. I have wrecked my brain thinking about it, because while the two tables contain the same info they are displayed differently.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How many records does the second table have?

    Cheers,

    you were so close!!

    select stuff
    from table1
    , table2
    where table1.cardno
    between table2.startno and table2.endno

    Hi,
You can jut use the "Between Join" criterion.

Juts ensure that the data types are similar.

    cheers,
