    Unanswered: DELETE current record in Access (programmaticaly)

    Ok i have a form with a bunch of text boxes unbounded What i want is to delete this record which is showing up on the form without using a Delete Query using my Recordset methods.

    is it something like rs.fields.delete ?

    If you have bounded form then:

    1. Command button wizard suggests to use code below:

    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 8, , acMenuVer70
    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 6, , acMenuVer70

    2. If you don't like it, then you can use code:

    In case you have unbounded form and just want to delete a record from a recordset, then use Delete method of the recordset:

    ' code to refresh unbound controls goes here.
