Unanswered: No of parameters that can be passed to stored procedures

What is the maximum number of parameters that can be passed to a stored procedure in IBM DB2 version 7.2 ?
The SQL Reference mentions that the maximum number of parameters in a stored procedure is 32767.

Now I am trying to create a stored procedure that accepts around 124
parameters. I get an error in Stored Procedure Builder which says that " The maximum number of allowable arguments (90) has been exceeded".

The limit of 90 arguments is for user defined functions according to the SQL Reference manual. Why am I getting this error for a stored procedure?

Is there a way to get around this? or is this a limitation of DB2 UDB?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Vijay

the 32767 limit is for DARI-style procedures only. For GENERAL
    style, the limit is 90.
