    Post Unanswered: Triggers

Can somebody tell me if the wy we write trigger on a DB2 table is standard ?

Are DB2 's triggers always the same on OS390, NT, Unix ?

Is it possible to copy them in a Informix or Oracle database ?

    Thank for your help

    Re: Triggers

Though I haven't tested, I believe that the triggers are portable across the DB2 family of products ....

Recently, IBM has published a book on 'SQL Reference for Cross-Platform Development' which will be very useful if you are serious about cross-platform DB2 appln development.

    Download the book from :

    http://www7b.boulder.ibm.com/dmdd/li...206sqlref.html

This book does not deal with Informix or Oracle .

    HTH ..
