Question Unanswered: exporting mySQL dbs to host server

    **********Fairly new at mySQL******************

I have read the threads about getting the hosting service to open the proper port to allow you to connect to your mySQL dbs remotly, but lets say that they wont do that for you. I have all my information inputed locally in a mySQL DB and now I need to get all the info put in the mySQL database that my hosting company has given me. HOW? What is the best way? Any articles or links to help? Pre-thanks for your help.

Install phpMyAdmin or dbTools on your local machine. You should then be able to export scripts that will create the tables on your host and populate them with the data in your local tables.

Execute the scripts on your host through phpMyAdmin or whatever interface they provide to allow you access to MySQL.
