    Question Unanswered: Tracking users

    Hi,
i have a problem on tracking users .
4 users doing insert, update and delete operations on one table. how can i know (or track) which user did that perticular operation (may be insert, update...).

or how can i write a trigger on a table level. (if some body can touch my table , some message will be fire...).

this is very urgent for me. i am waiting for reply.

    Thanks in advance.

Access does not support table triggers.

You can however use the AfterInsert, AfterUpdate and AfterDelConfirm (check if the delete was aborted or actually committed) events of a form. You can create a basic data sheet form to make it look like a normal table. If your users have direct access to the tables I think it's not possible to do what you want with Access.
