    Unanswered: Deallocating cursors in DB2

Deallocating a cursor in DB2 using a DEALLOCATE stm seems to fail.
In SQL Server this DEALLOCATE stm works with a cursor?
Is there any way to do it on DB2?

Are you looking for the CLOSE Statement ?

It's not necessary to deallocate the cursor in db2

The "Close Cursor" statement will take care of that for you, as I understand it.
