    Unanswered: Passing a variable

    I have the current vba script:

    Public Function dos(a As Double, b As Double) As Double
    Dim c As Double
    If (a / b) > 1 Then
    dos = a - b
    c = (a / b)
    If (c) = 1 Then
    dos = a - b
    dos = 0
    End If
    End If
    End Function

    This function is run 14 times in a query and works fine. My problem is that I need to have a sum of the C value and multiplied by 30 output to ANOTHER expression.

    In otherwords, I am not outputting the c, but I would like to internally, and then do math on the variable in another expression.

    Please help.

    Where would you need to use the value c, in another function ... ?
