Unanswered: Permissions on the Stored Procedure directory (Linux)
I have a problem with building stored procedures on Linux. I have a C++ compiler installed, and have tried using both the SPB and the command line to compile my stored procedures, and both come back with the error:
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUX] SQL0035N The file "Precompilation/Compilation error" cannot be opened.
Now, I assume that Linux is not trying to write to a file called "Precompilation/Compilation error", however trying to write to a log file in the Stored Proc Build directory (usually the directory:
/home/myDatabaseUsername/sqllib/function/routine/sqlproc/myDatabaseName/myDatabaseUsername/) and failing to write the log because the process does not have the permissions to. (Incidentally I expect the text "Precompilation/Compilation error" to appear in the log file)
My question is this: what is the username/group name that the above directory should have to enable the process to write correctly to it?
