Hi all,

I am trying to deploy a Java Stored Proc on Win2k UDB 7.2,
However I get a SQL4304N when I call the proc from my client.
client gets the error..
--------------------------
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2Exception: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT]
SQL4304N Java stored procedure or user-defined
function "INF.COMMON", specific name "SQL020814195835160"
could not load Java class "gcifdb/entry/Common",
reason code "1". SQLSTATE=42724
--------------------------

The stmts/process used to create the stored proc is ...
-----
1) call sqlj.install_jar('file:c:/wrk/code/stored_procs/common.jar','INF.COMMON')
2) call sqlj.refresh_classes(void)
3) CREATE PROCEDURE INF.COMMON
(
IN XMLINPUT VARCHAR(2000),
OUT XMLRESP VARCHAR(4000)
)
EXTERNAL NAME ‘INF.COMMON:gcifdb.entry.Common.ProcessMsg'
RESULT SETS 0
LANGUAGE JAVA
PARAMETER STYLE JAVA
FENCED
NO DBINFO
NULL CALL MODIFIES SQL DATA;
---------

-My system classpath has all the above and many more db2 sqj jars etc in it..all that are needed to build and run the java code with inline calls(rather than loading it on the db)
-My PATH and LIBPATH is set to point to the ..\SQLLIB\function\jar directory
-The tables SYSIBM.SYSJARCONTENTS and SYSIBM.SYSJAROBJECTS contain all the classes loaded with sqlj.install_jar.

Can someone pls help me, why is it that the db fails to resolve the class name when called?

Thanx n Rgds,
Raghu
