I'm writing a Unix script to monitor daily changes to SPs in a development environment. Basically, this will involve exporting the definition at a point in time and comparing changes with the definition at the next point in time.

I would like to improve the functionality to report who made the change but we are often using universal logins while in development. Do any of the catalog tables hold information pertaining to the connection that made the change, ideally so I can track from which workstation the change was made?

I suspect I'm asking too much but if anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
