    Unanswered: Load data from sql server 2000 to sybase

    Hello, Can anyone suggest me the best way to transfer data from sql server 2000 to Sybase ASE12.5.

    I have text fields in most of the tables too.

    Please help

    Hiya,

    The most suited way, if you don't want to invest in purchasing anymore software is to bcp out the data from MS -SQL 2000 and bcp'ing it into Sybase ASE 12.5.

    If you have some $'s to psare, then simply buy Sybase Power Builder 8.0 and use the Data Pipes feature to migrate data.

    Thanks Willy... I've found a great tool which helped making my migration process easier. Its Ispirer ChyfoPro 9.6.2. I liked it cause personal license is only 100bucks and the job is well done.
