Unanswered: Transaction Log filling for unused DB

I have multiple SQL 2000 databases running on a Windows Advanced sever 2000 box. However, one of these databases is not accessed in any way but its log file is growing at an alarming rate, even with no database activity. Has anyone else experienced this and found a reason ?. Thanks.

May be a longrunning transaction is running behind. Sometimes even if you kill some processes, they will not get killed and keep running.

So Stop the SQL Server Services and start again. Then shrink the log size. I am sure this will work.

    Have Fun
