I have a .NET component that has two methods that performs the same action (insert a row). One of them executes a Stored Procedure and the other executes a SQL statement (insert into nn values(val1, val2)). When I try to store accents with the first method, no accents are stored; special characters such as '±' are stored instead. But when I try to stored accents with the second method all accents are stored.
Also when I execute the stored procedure and the statement in QUERY ANALYZER both of them work fine (store accents). What's wrong?
