Question Unanswered: Action Failed Dialog Box

    Hello all,

I have a switchboard using the OpenQuery macro to open a parameter query. It normally works well, except when a user hits cancel on the pop-up screen prompting for the parameter value. In this case, the user receives an "Action Failed" dialog for the openquery macro. Any thoughts on how to correct this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

Convert your Macro in a Visual Basic module. To do so, select the Macro in the Macro list, right-click, chose Export and then In a Visual Basic module. If you know nothing about Visual Basic code, it will be a pain, but you cannot remove these Macro messages (I never found a way... ).

When you convert, your macro will execute exactly as how it was before, but you'll be able to customize the error trapping (you can remove the warning and a cancel Query Open will pop up nothing)
