Wrote a small program to test connectivity to db2 and it works fine.
There was no error logged in db2diag.log either.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Having the same problem on AIX
I am getting the exact same crash in my C++ program on AIX with
DB2 7.2. For me also a small test program works fine but a multithreaded application crashes.
Were you able to resolve your problem - can you give me any clues as to what was happening ?
Its been a while since I worked on this.
Anyways, the problem is that for multithreaded
programs running on AIX using db2cli, the stack
size of each thread must be atleast 124kb or
132kb, don't remember exactly. Try 132kb, I
guess that should work.
BTW, name is spelt Parvez and not Pervez.
Thanks for posting a reply to my question - it was very helpful. One more question - how do I set the stacksize for a thread on AIX ?
p.s. sorry for the misspelling of your name !
