Question Unanswered: Summing an Access Table

If I have a Microsoft Access table with 5 columns A, B, C, D and E. Columns A, B, C and D are unique, while column E is a dollar value. Is there a way for MS Access to Sum all the dollars where columns A, B, and C are all equal. If this is possible can you please provide and Example. I am not sure if I need to copy the records into Excel or not.

    Thanks,

    have you tried

    select A, B, C, sum(E)
    from yourtable
    where A=B and B=C
    group by A, B, C

actually, i bet this could be simplified to

    select A, sum(E)
    from yourtable
    where A=B and B=C
    group by A

no sense in printing B and C if they're equal to A, eh?
