    Unanswered: Get query results to appear in a form

    I have the following table named ReleaseSchedule with these fields:
    Release (text field)
    OrderID (text field)

    I have this query:
    strSQL = "SELECT * FROM ReleaseSchedule WHERE OrderID LIKE '" & strOrderID & "*';"

    I have this form name: DataList
    which has on it, a subform named: Release

    The query works fine, but I don't know how to "bind" the query results to the subform named "Release". I would like to view the data on this subform.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction (maybe even a website which discusses this type of thing)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Flynn

    If I am understanding you correctly it is very easy.

    Create your regular form then go to toolbox toolbar then drag sub report. It will start a wizard for you and data by default will show in spreadsheet format. Format the viewing size of what you want. All done.
