    Unanswered: how can i find the wrong code meanings?

    Where can i find the wrong code meanings?Such as :
    ORA-01587: error during controlfile backup file copy,
    ORA-27091: skgfqio: unable to queue I/O,
    OSD-04026: Invalid parameter passed.

    There is a specific oracle reference about errors.
    If you are on unix platforms you have the command oerr to use for a fast lookup.

    That messages indicate that you have some problem with the disk or
    the operating system (I saw that messages from a user in Win).
    Look in this forum there is another thread:

    by mark darwin, in which I posted some hints.
