    Unhappy Unanswered: db2 incremental backup question

    Hi,
    I want to have a db2 incremental backup test,but now I don't konw whether or not db2(v7.1)can have online incremental backup,I have made the parameter LOGRETAIN and USEREXIT became ON,the backup command is:db2 backup db test online,maybe ervery time this command only have a full backup,not a incremental backup.Somebody can give me a help?

    DB2 supports incremental backup starting from 7.2 (or 7.1 FP3) only .

    The db cfg parameter TRACKMOD has to be set to ON for enabling incremental backup.

    DB2 V7.1

    doesn't have incremental backup capability. An alternative way is to backup only the Tablespaces of Tables that you know had 'activity'

    ei BACKUP DB temp TABLESPACE (ts1, ts2, ts3) ONLINE
