Red face Unanswered: How to intall the demo database for scott user?

I installed oracle on linux, and selected the custom intallation type. I remember I selected all options. But now I can't find the demo database for scott. Of cource, I can't use scott/tiger to connect my oracle server.

I want to use this demo database now, but I don't really reinstall oracle. How can I do ? Is there a install script for installing the demo database for scott?

    Please do me a favor!

I'm not sure that the demo database is meant only for user SCOTT. But you can find the script 'Demobld.sql', that builds the Oracle demonstration tables, and 'Demodrop.sql' for dropping those tables. I'm using Windows NT and I can see them in ..\ORANT\DBS\ directory.

The Demo tables and user Scott ca be created by running script "utlsampl.sql" in Oracle 9i on windows 2000 server. On Linux there must be some script for the sama purpose.
