Unanswered: Select queries slowing down SQL 6.5 db?

    Hi,

We have reports that when running seem to slow down the application in terms of opening records.

These queries against the case table for example directly affect the performance of opening cases in the application.

I'm not sure why this would slow down a simple select.

Has anyone seen this with SQL 6.5?

Also, has anyone seen performance degredation due to backups?

    TIA!

No, not a regular one. What would you recommend?

The DBCC DBREINDEX is on a per table basis.

Is there a command to do all indexes for all all tables?

So you have seen backups slow down due to indexes not being rebuilt and stats updated?
