Post Unanswered: isolation level for linked servers

In Query Analyzer I'm using 'linked servers' to read from tables in another SQL Server instance (on another box). How can ensure that I'm getting "read uncommitted" isolation level?
And does the same thing apply if I use 'linked servers' from osql?

Look up "SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL" in Books Online. Transaction level isolation is per connection so any server you connect to will need to honor the isolation level.

The tool you use to conenct to your servers is for the most part irrelevent.
