    Unanswered: Unable to run the dll from a store procedure

    I am trying to run an object in a dll (any objects for that matter) from a stored procedure.

    Whenever I use sp_OAMethod to run the method command I get this error;

    HRESULT: 0x80070008
    Source: ODSOLE Extended Procedure
    Description: Not enough storage is available to process this command.

    The object runs fine when run outside of the stored procedure, in a VB form for an example.

    This store procedure has been running for along time. I just reinstalled the SQL server 2000 recently and it causes problem.

    I don't think this is an issue because other applications are using this dll.

    Are you executing it as sa (or as a sysadmin) ?

    I am using the sa account to execute this stored procedure.

    Also, the system has plenty of memory.
