Unanswered: Is Insert or Update possible during a Import?

Really just wondering if this is possible. I am using a VB Client with ADO 2.6 talking to a v. DB2 7.2 UDB. I am able to SELECT during the import. I have my COMMITCOUNT = 100, however, the update statement that I try to run waits until the import is completed before it runs. I am updating a single row based on an indexed primary key. Has anyone done this, and what were the keys to any success you had. Thanks in advance

    I don't think so...

IMPORT uses EXCLUSIVE lock on the table.
