Question Unanswered: No access to MS Access

I have a database that I believe has somehow gotten corrupted. I try to open the database or access it in any way and I get this error message "Record(s) cannot be read; no read permission on 'MSysAccessObjects'."

History: One MS Access 2000 base working for years, mistake 1, renaming one table in the workspace, . Everything still worked OK.
Mistake 2: Running Tools/Database Utilities/Compact and Repair Database, this compacted it alright, but since then not possible to open. The database has no security beyong standard, it's for a single user.

I've studied the solutions round MS Q283849, but I can't get it to work.

    Anyone that has a solution?

You may try to create new MDB file and import tables, forms etc from corrupted database. It may work.
