    Exclamation Unanswered: Query question

I have a bunch of records with a field called Revision. The values of this field range from 0, 1, 2, 3 or letters such as A, B, C, or even AA, BB, CC etc. They represent revisions to engineering drawings. I need to make a query that will show only the latest revision and filter out the rest. Any ideas? I am using Access 2002.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Engineering Drawings normally come with an unique drawing number and a revision date.
Got a feeling that the combination of those two willl be more helpfull than revision indicators that can be just like anything.

Query on unique drawing number and latest date...

Unfortunatly I am working with an existing database with existing data. It was not created very well. I need to query the highest revision only.
    Thanks for the help.
