    Unanswered: Java Stored Procedures Win2000

    Hello guys,

I am trying to set up the Java environment on my DB2 server
    UDB/DB2 7.2 (fixpack4).

I have JDK1.3.1 , and I am able to use it with Procedure Builder
but when I start the buil, it comes back with an error:

    EIADMIN.JMSTEST2 - [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL4301N Java interpreter startup or communication failed, reason code "2". SQLSTATE=58004

    Now I have set up my BUILD_JDK_HOME = c:\jdk1.3.1

and now I do not what else to do, anybody has an idea on
how to set up the java environment on Win2000 for java store procedures to work

    thank you

I am getting the exact same error, however, I am using DB2 7 fix pack 3

Documentation suggest that you need to set jdk11_path and applicationheap size. Do you have your jdk11_path and application heap size set in DB2?

    Hello Vicks,

Yes I have set up the jdk11_path to work with my Java1.3 jdk environmnet, I am able to compile the Java stored procedure on Jdeveloper , the problem is when I want to invoke it on a select stmt.
I want to use the JBoss jars for sending a message to a queue on
the JBoss server , but when I issue the select stmt it comes back as
a notfound class error. I ahve copied the jboss jars file to all the paths
I can think of, but nope I can not get this thing to work

    any advices

    tx
