    Unanswered: Re: MSAccess2000

How would I delete some log files from a MSAccess datbase:

    could I just use:

    truncate table qr_log

    truncate table TEST_RESULTS_LOGS

    Thanks in advance!

if your are trying to delete records in a table you should just create a delete query in access. set it to delete * and you will empty the table.

How do I do that in Access? I'm not familiar with the SQL in Access.

First before I go into this, is the table you are deleting from in the access database?
if it is all you will have to do is create a new query, set its type to delete, by going to the query menu and select delete query. then grab the * at the top of the table that you added to the query and hit the exlamation point. If its not in the database you will need to run a SQL Pass threw query. Let me know if this helps
