Question Unanswered: ODBC error on replicated table

    Greetings Dear Colleagues!

Recently i tried to make a GUI (in access 97) to a replicated table
on one of our servers (MSSQL7).

    I got a specific ODBC error which, i confess, I don't understand:

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL server]
The text, ntext and image data types cannot be used in the WHERE,
HAVING or ON clause, except with the LIKE or IS NULL predicates. (#306)

What makes it cryptic to me is the fact I only use a 'flat' table to make entries into its linked SQL table counterpart without using a written or generated INSERT or UPDATE instruction.

Can anyone give me a tip?
    Thank you!
    Vincent

Add a field of type timestamp to your tables an it should work.
