Question Unanswered: Dynamic Query in Access db

Does anyone know how I can create a query based on a form? I have a form
with combo boxes that select from a table, I want to be able to use the
selections to form the criteria for a query. I am having one heck of a
time trying to get the output of the form to enter the data into the
    criteria field of the query...

    Any ideas would help much!

    Thanks
    Jim

Not a problem man Here is what you do

create a second query with the base data table. Select all the columns
that you need into the new query. in the criteria section of the column that you want to filter based on the form put in a link back to the form
    like
    [forms]![form_name]![combo_box_name]
if you want an exact match put a '=' in frunt
if you want a search use 'like' in frunt
    any other questions please ask
    regards
    Jim
