    Unanswered: Access and Scanners!!

Is there anyway we can populate Access tables with the data from a scannable sheet. I mean when a scannable sheet is scanned , is there any way we can communicate between the scanner and the access tables.Any details on this matter are welcome....Thanks

The only method I have been able to use with mixed success is to scan any column printed data, one column at a time into word. THen copy and paste into excel, then import into Access.

It will depend on how the data is stored in the scanner. If it's stored in a Palm database (imported to the PC as a .PDB file), there are a few programs that let you pull data from a PDB into Access. Some I found by searching real quick are JFile, MobileDB, DB and ThinkDB. Check these out, or search the web for more. If you're scanning to something other than a Palm database, I'm not sure...
