    That is a rather lenghty comparison. Do you have something in mind or just looking for a general explanation ?

    What I was looking for just general overview, like when to use DTS and not replication and vice versa

    DTS is for importing/exporting data between different mediums, with the option of transforming / customising data as its transferred.

    Replication is used to keep copies of the same data syncronised at different locations, to allow simultaneous access given a set latency.
