Thumbs up Re: How to view the text of the trigger

You can use SQL-Central or this selects:

    -- List Triggers

    SELECT name
    FROM sysobjects
    WHERE type = "TR"
    go

    -- View Code

    SELECT text
    FROM syscomments,
    sysobjects
    WHERE sysobjects.id = syscomments.id
    AND type = "TR"
    AND name = "<your_trigger>"
    AND uid = user_id()
    ORDER by syscomments.id,
    syscomments.colid2,
    syscomments.colid
    go

    Bye bye

    Hiya sandya,

Starting from ASE 12.5.0.1, you could use a utility called ddlgen loacted in sybcent32 directory to generate definations for server and database level objects.(including triggers).

    Cheers
    Willy
