    Question Unanswered: Silly question

    This is potentially a silly question but please humor me. I am very new to Access(as in a month 1/2) and I find myself with a function that is not printing what I think it should be printing. I think that I am opening my recorset incorrectly but am not sure how to change it. I have used a couple of Access 2000 books that I have and looked on line at examples and it looks right to me. I'd really appreciate any feedback...I'm coming to end of my rapidly fraying rope.....
    Thanks,
    Laeskia

    Here's my code:

    Function OpenY()

    Dim CurConn As ADODB.Connection
    Dim rst As New ADODB.Recordset

    Set CurConn = CurrentProject.Connection

    rst.Open "JuneCopy", CurConn, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic, _ adCmdTable
    rst.MoveFirst
    rst.MoveNext
    Debug.Print "ID"
    Debug.Print ID
    Debug.Print " Done"

    End Function
